Airport Manas – the main international airport of Kyrgyzstan, located 25 kilometers far from the city of Bishkek.

The new airport was built on the place of old one and called after epic hero of Kyrgyzstan Manas, according to the suggestion of famous writer of the country Chingiz Aitmatov.  The first plain was landed here in 1974 with the prime minister on the board.
